LIndsay Lohan's Verdict

Lindsay Lohan was ordered by a Los Angeles judge on Friday to spend 120 days in jail for violating her probation in a pending case in which she is accused of stealing a necklace from a jewelry store, the Los Angeles Times reported. The judge in the case ruled that the evidence she had heard on Friday in the jewelry incident was a probation violation and sentenced the actress to 120 days jail and 480 hours community service -- some of it a morgue. Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled the offense, along with Lindsay's record, did not support a felony charge.  The judge noted Lindsay's DUI conviction was 4 years ago.
JudgeSautner denied the motion to dismiss the case, as Lindsay’s attorney had requested. Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers called four witnesses to make her case that Lohan should be tried for a felony, including the owner of the store where Lohan is accused of theft.
