The University of Connecticut claimed its third men’s college basketball championship as Butler University had the worst title game shooting performance in the 73-year history of the national tournament. The University of Connecticut women’s team lost Sunday night to Indiana’s players from the University of Notre Dame. Connecticut’s governor had put up some ice cream from the University of Connecticut’s dairy barn against Indiana Gov. Behind at the half; the Huskies dominated nearly all of the last 20 minutes and ultimately beat the Butler Bulldogs by 12 points, 53 to 41.
