Blackout against SOPA and PIPA

You must be having some trouble while using the Wikipedia website, like me. You must be told on the Wikipedia website that it is participating in an Internet Black to protest against SOPA and PIPA. SOPA i.e. Stop Online Piracy Act and PIPA i.e. Protect IP Act. These bills are proposed for supporting the protections against copyright violation and intellectual property theft.
These are the websites that went completely black–out today :  Reddit, Wikipedia, BoingBoing, Mozilla, WordPress, TwitPic, MoveOn.org. But Google didn’t completely blackout, rather it has shown a message simply, “Tell Congress: Please don't censor the web” Facebook and Twitter had not participated in today's blackout.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) also focuses on removing specific, unauthorized content from the Internet whereas SOPA and PIPA are targeting the platform completely including the site hosting. If SOPA and PIPA are passed then the Justice Department will have the power to go after the foreign websites wilfully committing or facilitating intellectual property theft.
According to Google, SOPA and PIPA would censor the Web, they would be job-killers as they will create a new era of uncertainty for American Business and finally they wouldn’t be able to stop piracy.
