Serena Williams wins Wimbledon singles title


30-year-old Serena Williams has won her 5th Wimbledon singles title with a 6-1 5-7 6-2 victory against Agnieszka Radwanska this Saturday(Today) on Centre Court, being her 14th grand win since the All England Club win in 2010. This clearly shows that Serena Williams is back, looks almost as good as ever after her long gap. She has worked very hard and made every inch of her way to reach at this stage.
After winning the game, Serena climbed into the stands to embrace her sister, the five-time Wimbledon champion Venus and other close connections and celebrated her glory moments. Williams had being struck by injury and serious illness for almost a year. Later Saturday, Serena and Venus Williams will play in the doubles final.
Serena Williams has won $1.78 million through this tournamnet and she is the first woman over the age 30 to win Wimbledon Tournament since Martina Navratilova in 1990.
