Google Lauches Chromebook Pixel - New Notebook Concept


Google has released its new laptop — the Chromebook Pixel. It is exclusively made by Google only, unlike the previous Chromebooks which was made by Samsung and Acer.
Chromebook Pixel is a high-end, powerful machine with impressive hardware. It has the best hardware and software as said by Google. And it has a touch screen interface like the windows 8 powered laptops. In short, the Pixel combines the lucidity of Windows 8 and the functionality and Retina Display of the MacBook.

Hardware:
A dual-core 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics.
Display:
Gorilla Glass-covered multi-touch 12.85-inch screen having a 2560 x 1700 (239 PPI) [HIGHEST RESOLUTION DISPLAY EVER on a laptop] touchscreen panel. The screen contains massive 4.3 million pixels and has 400 nit brightness with 3:2 aspect ratio.
Operating System:
Chrome OS exclusively designed to work with web applications.
Cloud Storage:
In the Chromebook Pixel, the local solid-state storage is 32GB and 64GB SSD, however; consumers can get one terabyte of free cloud storage space with Google's Drive service for three years.
Price:
The basic Wi-Fi version (32GB storage) is priced USD 1,299 in the US. In April, Google will launch a model with built-in LTE (64GB storage) with a price of USD 1,449.
