The angry little Canadian pop star Justin Bieber left a controversial message in the guestbook of Anne Frank House in Amsterdam that was revealed on official Facebook post of the museum. He wrote:
Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.
According to Gillian Walnes, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Trust Justin’s message was insensitive to the memory of Anne, but he hopes that the visit has had a positive impact on him.
The Anne Frank House, the Amsterdam museum dedicated to preserving the memory of the young holocaust victim who chronicled her ordeal hiding from the Nazis during World War II in The Diary of Anne Frank. Frank died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945 at the age of 15.
