The 2013 Miss World pageant has been won by Megan Young, Miss
Philippines, on the Indonesian island of
Bali.
She was born in US, beat 126 other contestants and
assured to be " Best Miss World ever".
The competition was moved to Bali from the capital, Jakarta,
due to some protests from hardline Muslim groups.
And for that reason Security for Saturday's event was very
high in Bali, a resort island with a majority Hindu population, but no further
demonstrations were reported.
Miss France, Marine Lorphelin, came second and Miss Ghana,
Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter, took third place.
