A 2-year-old son of Adrian Peterson died on Friday in a hospital.
Adrian Peterson is the star of the team Minnesota Vikings.
Peterson posted a statement
on Twitter about his child's death. The incident occurred in Peterson's apartment.
He called 911 to report a choking. However, police confirmed later that the boy's
injuries were not accidental.
It was obvious to medical staff that abuse has taken
place and that those injuries were not accidental. Joseph Robert Patterson has a
past of family violence and hence is the suspect in this case, and police has arrested
him.
